Seller responsibilities

This page gathers what E4 World asks of every seller. E4 World runs the marketplace, takes the payment for each order and handles support, refunds and disputes; you, the seller, are independent and supply the goods or services you list. This page is a summary; the full text is in the policies listed at the end.

Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a binding agreement.
  • Sanctions. You may not use E4 World, as a seller or a buyer, if you are located in, or ordinarily resident in, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Crimea, or the so-called Donetsk or Luhansk regions; or if you are on a sanctions list of the United States (OFAC), the United Nations, the European Union or the United Kingdom, or are owned or controlled by someone who is. You may not use E4 World on behalf of anyone in that position. E4 World may screen accounts, orders and withdrawals against these lists and locations, and may refuse, pause or end any of them.
  • Keep your account information accurate, complete and current. When asked, say truthfully whether you sell as an individual or as a business, with correct legal and tax details.
  • You are responsible for the taxes, licences, permits and other obligations that apply to you.

Identity verification

To sell, you complete E4 World's own identity verification on verify.e4world.it:

  • a short questionnaire about how you sell;
  • your names, date of birth, identity document type and number, and address, exactly as they appear on your document (a phone number is optional);
  • two photographs of your identity document, front and back, and a five-second video of your face, taken live with your phone or tablet camera. Saved files cannot be uploaded, and you give consent before the camera opens.

The E4 World team reviews your check. An approval lasts 180 days; when it lapses, your offers pause until you verify again. E4 World may ask you to verify again at any time, and until the new check is approved your account cannot buy, list or request a withdrawal. Some games and categories also need an application and E4 World's approval before you can list in them.

Your right to sell

When you list something, you confirm that:

  • you own or lawfully control it, and you have the right to sell and transfer it;
  • it was not stolen, hacked, phished, taken back from someone else, or otherwise obtained unlawfully;
  • it does not infringe anyone's intellectual property or other rights.

You must not list:

  • accounts you do not control, or that you obtained unlawfully;
  • counterfeit, unauthorised or infringing goods, or codes obtained unlawfully;
  • cheats, malicious software, unauthorised modifications, or services based on unlawful access;
  • paid products whose contents are left to chance or are not fully described.

Game publishers

E4 World is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by any game publisher. Game names and marks belong to their owners and are used only to describe what is sold.

  • A game publisher's own terms may forbid transferring accounts, currency or items, and a publisher may restrict or close an account or remove items. You sell knowing this risk, and you disclose in the offer any restriction you know of.
  • If an account you sold stops working, is taken back, or is restricted during the protection period, the buyer can open a dispute, and it may be decided against you on the evidence.
  • Do not use a publisher's logos or artwork in a way that suggests a partnership or endorsement, and do not offer tools or instructions to get around a publisher's detection or anti-cheat systems.

Accurate offers

  • An offer must be accurate, complete and not misleading. State the game, platform, region, server, quantity, delivery time, access status, any restriction, and whether the login details can be changed.
  • Do not describe an account as Full Access, First Owner, Original Owner or anything similar unless it is true and you can support it if asked.
  • Do not hide material restrictions, and do not use misleading titles, images or descriptions.
  • Misleading or repeatedly inaccurate offers may be removed and may lead to the actions at the end of this page.

Delivery

  • Deliver inside the order, through the delivery box or the order chat, within the delivery deadline: currently 48 hours from payment. This deadline applies whatever delivery time your offer states, so do not state a longer one.
  • If the deadline passes without delivery, the order is cancelled and the buyer is refunded automatically, and you receive nothing for it.
  • If your offer delivers automatically from stock you loaded in advance, keep that stock accurate and working.
  • If you cannot deliver, tell the buyer in the order chat and contact E4 World support. Sellers cannot cancel or refund an order themselves; refunds are made only by E4 World, never outside it.

Sold accounts

After selling an account, never recover it, try to regain access, change its login details or interfere with the buyer's access, unless there is a legitimate reason recorded through E4 World. Deliberately taking back a sold account is a serious violation.

Keep everything on E4 World

  • Keep order messages, delivery, payment and evidence inside the order on E4 World.
  • Do not ask for or share phone numbers, email addresses, social-media accounts or messaging handles in order to move a transaction or a conversation off E4 World, and do not ask a buyer to pay outside E4 World or to get around its fees or protection.
  • Delivery details that the order asks for, such as a game ID, are allowed as far as the delivery needs them.

This is a rule of the marketplace. E4 World does not filter messages automatically; E4 World staff can read order chats, and act on what they find and on reports. Breaking the rule may cost the transaction its protection and may lead to the actions at the end of this page.

Disputes

  • When a dispute is opened, respond within 48 hours. If you do not respond, or do not provide the evidence asked for, E4 World may decide on the evidence it has.
  • Provide accurate information and evidence; never invent evidence or alter it to mislead. For game accounts you may be asked for evidence of ownership, of where the account came from, or of delivery.
  • While a dispute is open, your proceeds from that order are not released for payout.
  • Disputes are decided by E4 World staff. If the decision favours you, you receive the item price less the commission. If it favours the buyer, you receive nothing for the order. In a split, you receive the part of the item price not given to the buyer, less its proportional share of the commission. See Dispute Resolution.

Fees and payouts

  • Commission. The commission is set by E4 World per game and category and is shown before you publish an offer. It is deducted from your proceeds on each completed order. See Fees & Commissions.
  • When proceeds become payable. Payments are processed through approved payment service providers. Seller proceeds are not eligible for payout until delivery is completed and the applicable protection period has ended. An order completes when the buyer confirms receipt, or automatically 48 hours after you submit delivery. Your proceeds then show as pending until the order's protection period ends, and become available straight away when the order has none.
  • Withdrawals. You can withdraw your available balance to a payout method available for your country. The fee is 3% for bank and e-wallet methods and 10% for cryptocurrency methods, and the minimum is 20 USD or the local-currency equivalent shown. The fee and the minimum are shown before you confirm the request.
  • Review. Every withdrawal is reviewed and approved by E4 World staff before it is sent, and E4 World may ask for information first. A suspended, limited or closed account cannot request a withdrawal.
  • Payout details must be accurate and in your own name.
  • Your seller dashboard shows where your proceeds stand. See Seller payouts and withdrawals.

Conduct and reviews

  • Reviews must reflect genuine transactions. Buying, inventing or pressuring for reviews is prohibited.
  • If a buyer leaves no review within 7 days of the order completing, E4 World records a five-star review with no text on the buyer's behalf. It is labelled "Recorded automatically" and counts in your rating.
  • Fraud, impersonation, forged documents, abuse of disputes or refunds, and manipulation of orders, reviews or fees are prohibited.

When a rule is broken

E4 World may act in proportion to the violation and the risk: a warning with its reason, removal of an offer, suspension of selling (which pauses all your offers, with the reason given), a request to verify again, or limiting, suspending or closing the account (which stops buying and withdrawals, and for suspension and closure, listing). A suspension does not end automatically. If you think an action is wrong, write to us through the live support chat or at [email protected]; the E4 World team reviews it and can lift it.
