Buyer protection
Buy with confidence: your protection starts at payment
E4 World runs the marketplace, takes the payment for each order and handles support, refunds and disputes; the goods are supplied by independent sellers who are subject to E4 World's identity verification. Payments are processed through approved payment service providers. Seller proceeds are not eligible for payout until delivery is completed and the applicable protection period has ended.
Delivered on time, or refunded
The seller must deliver within 48 hours of your payment. If they do not, the order is cancelled and refunded automatically, with no dispute needed.
Check before you confirm
Review what you received, change the login details of an account, and make sure everything matches the offer before you confirm receipt.
Disputes decided by E4 World
If something goes wrong, open a dispute from the order page and attach your evidence. E4 World staff review the case and decide it.
How does protection work?
- You pay for the order through E4 World's checkout.
- The seller delivers within 48 hours of payment. If they do not, you are refunded automatically.
- Once the seller marks the order delivered, you have 48 hours to check it and confirm receipt, or to open a dispute if something is wrong. If you do neither, the order completes automatically when the 48 hours end.
- When the order completes, the protection period shown on the offer begins.
- During the protection period you can still open a dispute from the order page for a problem the protection covers.
- When the protection period ends, the seller's proceeds become eligible for payout.
The protection period
- E4 World sets the protection period for each game and category. It is shown on the offer (labelled "Warranty") and on the order before you pay.
- For example, at the time of writing it is 14 days for Valorant and for PUBG Mobile accounts, and 7 days for Arc Raiders and FiveM accounts.
- Some offers carry no protection period. On those, no claim can be opened once the order has completed, except where a legal right that cannot be waived applies.
- Login details delivered in an order are removed from the order when the protection period and any dispute on the order end. Save them somewhere safe once you have secured the account.
What the protection covers
- An order not delivered by the deadline.
- A delivery that is materially different from the offer, or only partly delivered.
- Login details, a code or a product that did not work at delivery, for a reason you did not cause.
- During the protection period, losing an account because the seller or a previous owner recovered it, or because of something the seller did before the sale.
What the protection does not cover
- A change of mind after a correct delivery.
- Problems you caused, or wrong details you supplied.
- Anything paid for, delivered or agreed outside E4 World.
- Claims made after the protection period has ended.
- Action a game publisher takes after delivery that the seller did not cause or misrepresent.
Game publishers
E4 World is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by any game publisher. Game names and marks belong to their owners and are used only to describe what is sold. A publisher's own terms may forbid transferring accounts or items, and a publisher may restrict, suspend or reclaim an account or item at any time. Buying on E4 World does not change those terms.
Refunds
A refund is credited at once to your E4 World balance, in US dollars. A refund returns the price and the service fee, and never the payment fee. A payment made by card can be returned to the card on request: ask in the order chat or the support chat, before you spend the credit. By default the card receives the price. How long a card return takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank. Payments made in cryptocurrency or from the balance are refunded to the E4 World balance only. The Refund, Cancellation and Delivery Policy has the details, including what each kind of refund returns.
Keep every conversation and payment on E4 World, and do not confirm receipt until the product is fully secured. This protection is in addition to the rights you have under the law of your country, not a replacement for them.
